MP3 Information
MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) files offer high-quality sound and are more flexible and convenient to use. Here's why:
Our MP3 files have a high bit rate, which gives them top-quality sound.
MP3 files play on most operating systems - Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
MP3
files play on almost all media players for Windows, Macintosh and
Linux. They work on Windows Media™ Player, iTunes® and many more.
MP3 files play on almost all portable devices, including Apple iPod® and Microsoft Zune™.
MP3
files have no license files associated with them, so they are much
easier to back up and move. You only have to move the MP3 file itself.
There are no restrictions on the number of
computers or devices you can copy MP3s to, and no restrictions on the
number of times you can burn them to a disc.

The easiest and fastest way to back up your song files is to copy them
to an external hard drive. You can connect one of these to a USB port
on your computer in moments, and backing up the song files is as easy
as dragging them over to the external drive's icon and dropping them.
The process is quick and convenient, and you can easily reverse the
process to copy the files to a new computer if that should become
necessary.
Another good way is to burn them to a CD. By burning a CD, you not
only have a safe backup of your music, but you can take it with you and
play it in any CD player. This process is slower than copying to an
external hard drive, but has the advantage of not needing a computer
for playback.
